For Young People

Whether it’s children at school needing extra help with SEND conditions, youths suffering from anxiety and ADHD or less abled young adults, VR therapy can help with a range of conditions

Helping with SEND activities in schools

Evidence shows virtual reality has the tools to push the boundaries of teaching, helping
SEND students meet their learning and social goals in an interactive and engaging way.

We’ve developed a 6 week programme tailored for schools devised, covering different weekly themes such as art, music, mental wellbeing, independence, careers, sport and fitness, and more. These are all devised in collaboration with learning programmes and student’s needs.

Learn and play

Our range of programmes in the centre can be used as a one off or, as part of a tailored programme aimed to ease conditions such as anxiety, ADHD, mental health and physical rehabilitation. Take a look at our booking page for more information

Centre drop ins

Aside from schools we offer an outreach programme, visiting young people in hospitals or youth settings to enable them to experience the benefits of VR. We also hire out VR technology. For more information on this, please email us, or give us a call

Consulting

We offer a range of services, from combining gaming and therapy to focussing on education or hosting
innovative and immersive workshops. We can also advise on how to utilise an unused classroom for this
experience or how to update an existing sensory room.

For more information, please take a look at our video below or give us a call at 07341847589.

Evidence on how VR can help

Cancer treatment

The Norwegian Cancer Society has been using this
type of therapy for little ones who have had a bone
marrow transplant. In order to elevate the boredom
that set in for the required 6-week isolation in a
sterile tent, VR Googles and a 360 VR movie of a
Dolphin Swim Club were given to create a sense of
the outdoors and encourage interaction.

Anxiety and mental
health

The gameChange VR program was developed by a
team of university, health and industry experts
including Oxford University spin-out: OxfordVR,
creators of immersive technology for mental health.
The largest ever clinical trail of virtual reality for
mental health, gameChange especially helped
people whose anxiety had previously left them
 virtually housebound.
